Blim, surely these are all xbox 1 shots, right? i have never played far cry on xbo, so i cant say whether all shots are indicitive of that version, but the 4:3 aspect ratio is usually a dead giveaway...

Nah, they are from 360 too. Some game has that raito, specially in early development.Sounds great! That should mean all four above are from the Xbox 360 versions.

I have the game on the Xbox
And i already see a huge diffrence in the Xbox 360 version it looks good very good.
If these pic's are eraly stage i only can say this game will look to good for your eyes when its done.

those pictures don,t look like 360 or next gen the last two pictures. but it is a solid game for the xbox 1. 2 more month to go before release and this is the best they can do - come on. for me to buy it i need to see big improvement when its finish.

i just need to see that next gen lookt to it. even thou it will look next gen once it finish and ready to release. hopefully.

there is slight diffrence in xbox v 360, but it still early i think. cant judge it on a few screens....
but i think they can do much better...if they pushed the game like they did for xbox version...not a half ass shinny port...

This game is looking decidedly current-gen. So much so that I cannot even tell which pics are for X360 and which are for X1 (and I usually nail that spot-on). Maybe Ubisoft should have at least clarified that before releasing these photos. Not that it mattered, as they both look remarkably the same.

I swear, at the rate things are going, if it were not for the likes of Gears of War and Crackdown, I'd swear that the X360 was a current-gen system. Far too many games hitting the system that exhibit current-gen or slightly better than current gen graphics. This is not a good sign. I seriously hope that by the 2nd half of 2006 this trend vanishes and we really start seeing some truly next-gen looking games. If not, Sony is going to have a field day with PS3.

I'll most likely pick up FCI: Predator as I have no purchased FCI yet, but I loved the OXM demo a lot. But if Ubisoft expects me to pay an extra $10 for the X360 version, then they had better show me some serious differences in the graphics department to make it worth my while - this "Xbox 1.5" stuff that too many developers are putting out is really starting to get on my nerve.

although it was good it wasnt a patch on the pc version. let hope the 360 ver of farcry does the job.

I wonder if they have made any upgrades to the map editor, I really had fun with that on FCI.

2006 will be a transitional period for 360 games, as these ports will start to taper off and games that are being developed specifically for the 360/PS3 will start to trickle out. Speak with your wallets! Let publishers know how you [we] feel by not purchasing these quick release "upgrades".

That said, it doesn't look bad, and it's really hard to tell by these 2 screens how the game will end up.

the main character's hands looks better than the xbox version and the helicopter too,apart from that,everything else look xbox1 imo

Its a Budget Game, and it looks like one.

BTW, to be honest, you cant see any diffrence in these pics, 360 version looks the same like the xbox part, and that simply sucks, nobody needs these simple ports, even if they do look good (for current gen)

Wow, people really expects Killzone E3 Trailer quality for next-gen huh? Also, Far Cry is a washed up cartoony looking engine, much like PDZ.

As far as I know, FC2 is being developed with DX10 in mind.
(360 being DX9 based)
