Page 1 2 >>wow good job blim.
there's no AA in the screens but we wont notice this with 60fps and the sheer speed of burnout anyway.
This game screams for 4x AA
Graphically it's a gen above old burnout.
4 wheels itselfs look to have more polys than a whole car in old BOR.
But horrible Aliasing make these screens really ugly!

I have never played the Burnout series but this - this is intriging.
The cars looks like crap, the environments looks great and as it's Criterion, they'll probably going to put on some AA and then we all know it's going to look great overall in the end - happy?! ;)
As it's a port, it don't want to open my mouth before we see some videos (and not small-ass resolution videos) - just like with Far Cry: Predator.
I don't get it though. Far Cry Instincts is one of the most impressive games visually out on Xbox, and so is Burnout Revenge. There really shouldn't be anything to worry about.
People also need to keep something else in mind would these cars if they were as scratched up as they are in this game look as good in real life? We'd be looking at them like they are a disaster if you get lucky you might scratch your car in a way where it looks stylish but other than that expect it to look really ugly when it gets scratched.
This is one of those next gen games where you have to see it running on a 360 that is in the same room with you to truly appreciate it. When everything is frozen and we are seeing only pieces of what they have to show us it takes away from the experience.
And for those who don't think this looks better than the Xbox version... you all need to see a side by side comparison. As soon as this game comes out, I hope we see a comparison of the two versions.
They will of course put aa in the game.... The 360 can perform 4xaa at no performance loss they'd be stupid not to put it in. When is this game suppose to release?
BUT no PC on earth has embedded ram on the GPU side so why are the devs not just using normal AA with performance loss? I mean they have a great CPU and an ueber-GPU and are rendering only with 1280x720... It will take at least another half year till anyone is using an engine that enables tiling I think.
I bet with you whatever you want, there wont be AA in burnout revenge or only 2xAA that is not enough to get rid of the jaggies. But I'm "fine" with it... RidgeRacer6 looks great imo and has no AA... like I said 60fps and a lot of speed are hiding things like no AA with ease.
Manager, is that all? i mean there's not much to talk about here :p

You should check it out, you'll enjoy it I'm sure.
But watch out... I had some bad expericences with burnout revenge on my mates Xbox1 and some alcohol... damn got I sick :-)
But McErono is right MSAA is not free on 360 but the performance hit is not that high if your vertex load is low. Most 360 games nowadays have very low vertex load but very high pixel load.
Also, there are X360 games that are out already that are using tiling.
go to the optician or stop playing games buddy...

and yes it's a xbox not X360 game
