You are right. This game will sell. It doesn't matter if it has PSX gfx, N64 sound and lame controllers. It will sell anyhow. The players look really bad.

Ugh..just look at the world cup itself, it looks awful, they seem to be using the same engine as Road to the World Cup, hopefully that'll change with Fifa 07.

The gameplay will suck just as it did with RTWC. I'm putting my bets on PES6 en FIFA07.

hmmmm this engine isnt bad, there are 22 players on screen, well 25 if you include the ref and linesmen. Its never gonna look as good as fight night are something. But the graphics arnt bad at all. And saying it looks like a psx game with n64 sounds and lame controllers...i had the road to world cup demo, the graphics where far better than pro evo 5 on the xbox, the sound sounded great threw my 5.1 speakers and the 360 controller is just the best controller ever without a shadow of a doubt.

yeah, but if they're using the same engine as in the last fifa title, they better get rid of the massive framerate-dropings first... this was really really bad in road to world cup.

all world cup games are allways have fun gameplay from the year 98 the games are more arcade then simulation games i hop this one continus the same gameplay

I don't remember where i read this but it was something like this: If you draw a simple picture you can easily make it show emotions so that you can tell if its ie. angry or sad. Nowadays that graphics are getting closer and closer to photorealistic it's much harder to make characters look like anything else but dolls. I have to agree with that. These pictures are good example. Characters have different facial postures, but theres no emotion in it. They look just like plastic dolls. And i think this applies to most of games. And if theres no emotion, theres no spirit. This is jut my opinion :)

Well yea you probably can tell what characters are feeling but it just doesn't look real.

It looks ever so spotty. Some shots look great but others look scary as hell.

I think EA need to rewrite the lighting engine entirely to be honest.

Holy shit this game looks terrible. How did they manage to make this look worse than the very same launch title? I just don't get it.

does EA now what they doing the need to wake up, looks terrible. most fooball fan won,t buy this they will buy PES all the why, anyway PES will be the best football game for years to come.

Konami needs to hurry up with Winning Eleven 10 for next gen systems. FIFA, as we know it's simply not WE. As for FIFA graphics, it looks too fake, too plastic. And one more thing, not one, not even one of the Mexican players look like their real life counterparts. Considering Mexico is a major market for this game, they should put a little bit more effort on player likeness.

Well, look at the pic with Ronaldinho and the World Cup.
Player Models and Stadiums look all right, but the textures are just bad. See the Logo on his Arm? I dont want to see such blurry crappy textures in any 360 game.
The Cup itself isnt pretty either.
