lol never thought id say this but cant wait to play this table tennis game...

Yeah the game looks close to CGI.

Looks great and seems to be a game that can be really addictive.

I can see myself playing over and over or challenging games for more game if i loose again and again and again.

Guess this is what Virtua Tennis was for the Dreamcast.

What can i say it looks fully next gen, lets hope thats how it will look when release are better.

The game looks pretty freakin awesome for only $30. It'll probably be a blast. You know it'll be an awesome feeling when you slam one for a win against an opponent on XBL.

the gameplay is aparrently excellent aswell according to the various playtests by ign and gamespot

The game will be 39.99 not 30 bucks like every keeps saying and it comes out May 22nd.

It does look good though, and at that price point you can't argue really.

I have been whondering the same thing :D Have been dreaming about next gen gta game for some time but still no news. Then the news came out and they are doing this! This could be sub-game on gta :) Oh well. Could be good news to all the fans of the sport (anyone?).
If next news from rockstar games is that gta series is still sony exlusive (and x360 gets stuff like this), I go murder somebody and blame their games for it.

no this is just a mini game in the new gta game, after the tennis game you can exit the place and go pull jackmoves on suckaz cars and shoot up hoes!

I have to wonder if these folks arent just pulling an EA and releasing an entirely CG trailer. There isnt a HUD anywhere, or any sort of targetting reticle or anything. How would anyone even play from the angles they've provided?

I reserve judgement on this until I see some in-game footage. :p

Looks nice but i'm really looking forward to a other tabletennis game that will hopefully be made and for another system: table tennis for the Nintendo Revolution :D:D Now that would be cool.

I'm pretty sure it's in ingame footage. Why? Well, observe the table tennis ball during the later part of the traiker. You can see how there are colored arrows around the ball. I can only guess that it's part of the control system, in other words, how the player can impart spin on the ball, or at least changing the direction of motion.

it depends...many devs have stated we ll get 4-5 years old cg films quality....
but if ur refering to current cg....then its close....but not the same

This game might actually be good for their reputation.

I'm looking forward to this. Playing real table tennis is massive fun and very similar to real tennis. A game of this kind looks great. I'm confused about their HUGE heads though
