E3: DOAX2 trailer

Team Ninja and Tomonobu Itakagi seem to have really enjoyed themselves when doing this trailer for Dead or Alive Xtreme 2. Alongside the now usual Volleyball, enjoy these "fights" on the pool, the jet ski, the water tunnel and other niceties. I really hope this was done with the game engine, as the self shadowing really gives everything a much better look and volume. But did the girls really need even more "volume"? :D

Yeah, I downoaded from marketplace, and I think that's just too much, it's obvious every move the girls make is to show off her attributes, all the games they play, etc, etc.

And they way I see it is that it was a mix of real time and CG, mostly real time though. The jet ski part didn't look real time, but who knows.

It looked CGI quailty which is pretty cool...

I don't see the fasination, I would be embaressed if people know i played games like this and with your friends list it's not like you can hide the fact anymore..

Looks like their assets have independant suspension this time. I guess from what I've read jet skiing will be the main part, volleyball the second thing.

Otherwise my girlfriend at the time/wife now, loved playing the volleyball with me, hope this one has 4 player support.

Yes, Blim, you can never have to much volume and intensity. That is the only way to get a true pump in er... the gameplay.??

As embarrassing as it might be, I actually enjoyed the first one. I thought the volleyball was simple but a lot of fun, and the whole shop/trade system was at least entertaining in a game.

Everybody was complaining about DOA 4 Graphics. Now, look at tekken 6 and VF 5 and you will see - DOA 4 is still the best looking Fighting Game. They just now how to do it the right way.

Speaking about the gameplay, im sceptical. The first DOAX was horrible in my opinion.

VF5 gives DOA4 a run for its money withthe character models but falls short everwhere else..

I think this game looks a lot more polished than DOA4.. shame it's so girly though.

One good thing though is by the time Itagaki gets to do NG2 he is guna know the 360 inside out and we will be blown away with those visuals.

Everything looks in-game besides the very beginning scene of the ocean and palm trees. If you look at the still shots during the Jet ski part, you notice the character models look pretty much like the ones in the pool. There's just a good use of motion blur to give it a cinematic look.
