Xbox 360

Microsoft started releasing a few backstage E3 videos about the future big releases for Xbox 360. The first few ones were'nt that interesting, but this one about Splinter Cell: Double Agent is quite nice, showing quite a bit of high resolution footage of the game.

The characters AND the environments have amazing detail, which I felt was missing from the MGS4 trailer.

I think all of the Splinter Cell games had civilians someway or another. The Splinter Cell games were always ahead of their time. I see no reason why it shouldn't get better with each title. So far Ubisoft haven't let us down. I hope they continue with their assault of third party dominance with quality titles.

I agree with the MGS4 comment, the stuff ive seen is missing certain detail aspects. This looks pretty amazing though. Although still needs a bit of touching up here and thier. I have to say though im not a big fan of splinter cell. I do like the MGS franchise better. But what the guy said about making it more accessible to people. It may be that little bit better. My problem with splinter cell was the controls where a little off for me. Things where over complicated. This generation and with the new 360 controller ive seen lots of cool new ways of controling games. So I hope this has that aswell.

I have to agree with the comment about the MGS4 trailer having some low-detail environments. It looks good and all, but when the camera gets close to something the textures and poly counts look very low.
