Yeah the characters are all terribly generic. You've also got the yound and eager hero, and of course the older brother figure who will OF COURSE be your enemy.
Yeah but I like character design though.
2 random anime girls, a affeminate guy, Mike Tyson and a Hooker, this sure is shaping up to be a good game.

it looks good, even the few bits of actual gameplay. it seems to be somewhat story driven, which i'd appreciate as i enjoyed some of the older PC games that seemed to be similar, like the Wing Commander series.
The little gameplay that is there looks nice, I suppose the 3-rd person perspective is best on a console environment.
Is is me, or did the gameplay cuts actually chop up towards the end?
I think this is just a throw-away project. Also, Game Arts is supervising (as they own the rights to the name), but I believe that another group is developing, while yet ANOTHER group is doing the CG cutscenes. Square Enix is producing.
Based off of the latest trailer (thanks, Blimblim), odds that this game is anything better than mediocre: 9 to 1.
