If the gameplay is good (I am hoping for more than circle straifing), has a nice learning curve, and is decently long this could do well. Hopefully it does and they can make a full fledged sequal and take it to the next level.
When it's running (as this vid proves) you hardly notice and certainly don't have time to admire the view.
See Optimus...SEGA are our friends :)
I'm realy hopeful for this title, it looks like the best chance yet for a Mech home-run on the console. My main concern is some of the smaller details and fleshed out gameplay. Heat disappation is an important part of the metagame in most Mech oriented affairs, and I didn't see a heat gauge (but perhaps i missed it?). Customizable mechs including tracks and I think I read quads sound really interesting.
Have to wait and see. So far the best next-gen Mech combat is in the Lost Planet Demo (not that Mechs are the focus there)....thats a blast if you haven't tried it. (X360 free demo online)
From the pics i've always said the scenery/landscape looks really bland.

Remember I posted about seeing this during g4tv's E3 coverage on my 50 inch sony hdtv? It looks amazing.
Armored Core 4 is coming and that one looks like it may have more of what I'm after. But after Line of Contact... I think I found heaven on the Xbox...
