Page << 1 2The page is pretty accurate. One error is that someone recently moved Bioshock to UE3. This is incorrect. One of their guys made a comment about moving to UE3, but when asked again at a later time if they were using UE3 he would not confirm this, and instead talked about how they were on 2.5 but have redone almost all the rendering, etc... so it is all their own. From the comments together it sounds like they are using some UE3 tools, but the base is UE2.5. Not that that is bad as it supports multipass bump-mapping (normal map/bump map/specular map/diffuse map/gloss map/environment map/opacity map/mask map etc), per-pixel lighting and per-pixel shading, virtual displacement mapping, high dynamic range rendering, soft shadows and other modern graphical features present in the DirectX 9/OpenGL feature Set.
well, next christmas season and the time before that is going to be really expensive for 360 gamers
Draw disance is really nice.
