Valve just released this first trailer of Portal, their very experimental first person puzzle game announced with the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Half Life 2/Team Fortress 2. Clearly Prey gave the Valve developers some very nice ideas about how use this cool technology.

Commented on 2006-07-20 22:21:00I don't know why people are raving about the graphics. Its a very simple environment with not a lot going on. The only standout feature graphics wise is the focus blur applied to to the weapon. The fire effect is shit, to be honest, and the rest is just some nice modelling, coupled with good lighting.
This HL2 pack with all the extra stuff is looking much more intruging.
