Naked Sky released these images of their upcoming Xbox Live Arcade-title, RoboBlitz. That previous Nvidia tech-demo that now is a Live-arcade title using the Unreal Engine 3 and will cost 1200p, you know. It's been a while now! Alot of delays, and it doesn't seem to be released any time soon. A multiplayer added is supposed to come.

I'm just as surprised as the other guys... an arcade game?? This is awesome. When you think of XBLA you only think of games like Gauntlet, Joust, Frogger, Pac-Man etc. lol

Apprently the majority of the textures in this game are generated procedurally. This would explain how it fits into 50mb. Would wonder if it will have an ffect on load times though.

the 360 gpu has procedural code to generate content like that if true

Nice textures, better quality than the Doom 3 engine on 360.

I've read on TXB from one of the developers that they totally rewrote the game after the original PC "tech demo". The tech demo was more of a proof of concept rather than an actual game.

It's still up in the air regarding how the final game will play but the screenshots really show how far this game has come and changed since the original demo. I only hope the game itself has improved as much.

FINALLY A PROGRAMMING TEAM THAT KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING!

They are rocking the procedural code that microsoft has been trying to get dev teams to adopt for the longest of time and this game truely shows it off... 50mb and its looking better than games 50x its size...

This truely shows how scalable XBL Arcade is...

Very nice looking.
..More devs need to take advantage of the tech though..

Now wait a second, are they actually allowed to put stuff like that out? I thought they had a developer-union mandate NOT TO PRODUCE QUALITY.

Need to send some union neck-twisters to their door ASAP. We cant let people start expecting value for their money. Games like this and castlecrashers will ruin the industry!

Looks better than the graphics of The Outfit and Gun and this is a XBLA game

I think xblarcade.com had a vid somewhere on there of this game. Unless that was the tech demo. Here's the link to the earlier gameplay trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncnu3n_1ics if you haven't seen it.
