Half Life 2 episode 2 trailer

Valve released the 720p and direct feed version of the Half Life 2 Episode 2 shown during the Game Convention last week. It looks just a tad better than our screener version ;)

I'm still thinking about what i should do:

Or buy all the extra episodes/content from valve for the pc.. or wait for the 360 version because my pc is in need for some big upgrades :)

either way this looks hot...

Seeing as the Museum keep calling me asking for my PC , it's 360 all the way for me!

And agreed FW, it really does look tremendous.

Blim, it would be great if you could keep uploading optional lower res versions of videos that are originally available in 720p. I noticed that for example here with HL2 and during GC06 with Stranglehold, there was only a 720p version available. My computer is too slow to playback HD videos smoothly. :/

Well there's no lower res available i presume and normally you could use the streaming version when there's no low version available(which also isn't up in this case ;) )

If you have a current/good PC, and have played all Half-Life games incl. Half-Life 2 and Episode 1 on PC, get the PC version of Half-Life 2: Episode 2 (incl. Team Fortress 2 and Portal) for probably 20-25 bucks..

If you have a old/crappy PC, and didn't play any Half-Life game yet, get the Xbox 360 version of Half-Life 2 (incl. Episode 1, Episode 2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal) for the normal Xbox 360 retail-price of arround 60 bucks..

I'm with the 1st choice, but I think the Xbox 360 option does offer great value.. Even if I had already played HL2 on the old Xbox, I would still buy HL2 on the 360.. HL2 will look much better on it, and you'll get all those extra's in Episode 1 & 2, TF2, and Portal aswell.. It's a no brainer really..

Actually I had put a 640x360 online too, I simply forgot to link it to the news. It's done now.

This game is gonna be one of the best game XBOX 360.
I've just fnished HL2 and I can see episode 2 has better graphics.
If it will be enough long I can buy it.

Well i've got to be honest i've been a pc gamer all my live (had a nes 8-bit and atari 2600 though :) and just got back to consoles with the xbox & the xbox 360, but i still think fps's are played best on the pc, i used to play allot of quake 2 and UT, i'm currently finishing my studies with an internship and i'll be graduating in februari (if all things go right that is :))

I'm planning on buying a monster gaming pc when i'm done so i can get back into pc gaming again :), i'll think i'll just wait with buying extra half life content for the moment :D

  • Zomoniac
Zomoniac @dingleberry doesn't matter, if you score with both shots and defend successfully all game it's still a win. Shouldn't have been 6-2 to Liverpool as shots mean nothing if they don't go in. (5 Hours ago)
  • dingleberry
dingleberry Birmignham 2 shots on goal, 11 men behind the ball. Should have been about 6 - 2 to Liverpool. Rafa's going nowhere. (6 Hours ago)
  • Slabs
Slabs @blmbox: Keep Rafa At Pool. Love him talking bollocks. Also refs are having too much influence on results, we need video refs ASAP, the time "lost" would be less than player protests now! (7 Hours ago)
