Sega continues with the big batch of images, with this time Virtua Tennis 3 and these 36 screenshots of the game. No mention of what platform these shots were taken from, but it sure makes me want to play the game.
Guys, who cares?
But for ones who do- Here is a factual comparison: IGN stated the PS3 looks better when SEGA ran both versions side to side.
Apperantly the PS3 was much sharper and supported more clear textures.
^Those are facts so Xbots, don't go mad (who am i kidding, I know they will lol)
Some forums seem to think these are PS3 (read: the best graphical version of the game).

Well, it's to be expected really. Both the PS3 and Lindbergh arcade board share an Nvidia GPU in common (PS3 has the Nvidia-developed RSX while Lindbergh has a GeForce Series 6 GPU). So they are more compatible with each other. They "speak the same language" in a sense, OpenGL.
Memory might also have something to do with it. Lindbergh has a gig of RAM! Something tells me there's not a whole lot of texture compression going on. Blu-Ray (more storage capacity for uncompressed textures) and the as-standard HDD (for use as a memory cache) might give the PS3 the edge in this regard.

Jato this game is arcadeish.
like for example you only play for sets. In real life, you get sets, a game and then the match but in VT you only get for example two sets and then the match.
That annoys me a lot.
But the game-play is always 10/10 in this game so it amkes me over-look all those things.
Well, the Virtua Tennis series are supposed to be just about the best tennis games around (so I've heard), so what does that make games like Topspin?
It's not completely realistic probably because some features are included/excluded to keep it interesting since it's still a game and has to be fun in the end, not realistic persé.
But I don't see how adding a highly annoying flashing splash adds anything to the gameplay?
Also, the amount of sets should be costumizable to anyone's likings, which is especially usefull for multiplayer games, so I don't see why you couldn't play a full lengths match?

dude how could u not like the game cuz of the shadow of the ball compared to the shadow of the player. u'd have to be a gamer addict to notice that or even if u did notice that normally thats not a good reason to not like the game.
