But Virtua Tennis has always been the best tennis series hands down, much more fun than any other competitor's game

What I also don't like are the arcade like effects when you hit the ball. Also the yellow line folowing the ball is not very realistic.
I hope you can turn the hud off. Like FN3, a tennis game would be perfectly playable without a hud.
Some shots are 1080p and in the past shots with self shadowing were labeled PS3/Arcade, so my guess is these are arcade/PS3 shots.

Looking very good to me.
I really dont like the crowd ;o
Also about the shadow of the ball, I am pretty sure they put it straight under so you can see better where the ball is on the court
Oh and about the crowd, Im pretty sure it is 3d. But they are very low res. As you can see here they dont really look like cardboard, just low res if you see them close enough.

doesnt bother me *that* much tho.
also, 360 or ps3, it doesn't matter, since they will look identical
The animations aren't all that bad, but it's still a bit too "quirky".
Also, I can't stand that "splash" that appears when you hit a ball
Very anoying, is that a feature that can be turned off?

Arcade shots would be 1360xsomething, not 1080p or 720p. Maybe it's a mix of both versions, or it's only the PS3 one.
so not only does this game look better on the ps3, but it will be output at a higher resolution :O !
