PS2 Xbox

After yesterday's Xbox 360 images of Just Cause and requests of current-gen version images, here are around 100 images from the PS2 and Xbox versions of Just Cause. It looks simply amazing, the PS2 one is just ... wow.
Update: The game in-motion doesn't look nearly as good as these screenshots, so we'll just have to wait for real images.

Incredible Textures on PS2 !!
Just 32MB RAM. But good texture :)
Xbox version is good too.
I'll play both Xbox & Xbox360.

Eidos put them in different catalogs, named Xbox 360, PS2 and Xbox. They were in really high resolution though. I doubt they are PC screens, but the IGN videos really didn't look like these screenshots.

Well if they where in high resolution and the videos on ign look nothing like that, then this screens are from PC because this looks exactly like the PC version. This textures are really to good for PS2, no way PS2 can pull this out, only if it runs 1fps.

Nah, Xbox screenshots are often in higher resolution than 640x480 when they are released. They are of course captured to make out the best of the game, with various ways to do it. But not many of the press images are originally in 640x480.

Haha i knew it, that looks like crap. PS2 simply can't show this kind of textures and so manny details at once.

Ps2 version looks nothing like this, total crap what a low res textures and lose of details, on the other side the Xbox version looks pretty close to this pictures.

I'm already referring to Xbox 360 as current generation. Developers need to do the same and stop releasing games for PS2/Xbox already. I can see that they focused on those versions first and barely upgraded the game for 360.

Not true, watch the videos, this screens are fake, again watch the videos!!!

PS2 version looks like poo, disgusting and the Xbox version is also nothing like the 360 version.

PS2 version looks great in terms of what a PS2 can do. Of course, the 360 version looks better, but not enough for a system that's supposed to be 10 times more powerful than PS2...

Yea but how manny years do the dves already studie the PS2 hardware and how long the one of Xbox 360? Wait for 2-4 years more and you will see what the 360 can really do.

Reminds me of those wonderful uber-hires Shadow of the Colossus shots right before the 360 launch. Bullshot(s).

Though I've thought from the start that the game itself is very last-gen in feel and play.. and the PS2 version videos shows us why. Gameplay made for the lowest common denominator.

The engine is spectacular on the 360 but doesnt carry a game to match. That's my grief with this title.

This is a media site, how games look visually is all we can talk about, yadda yadda. The best thing is to just let it flow through you you know, it's ultimately cathartic.
