Xbox 360 PS3

Electronic Arts released this long and big video of Need for Speed Carbon detailing some of the game's online modes. There are quite a lot of them, and the ones with the police cars look like a lot of fun.

Wow what another waste of the Need For Speed title. Do you guys remember need for speed high stakes, hot pursuit, porche unleased

Those are good games. After Underground 1 the series has fallen on its back.

Whats with all the night races anyway?

If you don,t like the game don,t bash it there is alot of gamers all over the world who like NFS games including me, all you need to do is chill.
You like the game so you praise it, i dont like the game so i dont praise it.
It's a perfect balance.

Seriously I'm just saying i don't think the franchise has evolved from its first instalment(S).

The demo has some serious framerate issues, and the fact the entire game is set at night looses all of the nice hdr lighting.

I really wanted this game to evolve (both in gameplay and visuals), based on the demo it seems very little has changed :(

And you guys don't know that demo's are a lot older than the finalized games :\. Expect no/lesser framerates in the full version and some fixes.

Well based on the previous game Most Wanted, the final retail version showed absolutely no improvement in the framerate issues seen in the demo.

I really thought with this being a 2nd generation NFS title on the Xbox 360, the engine would have been built specifically for the next gen consoles.

Again though, it's a last gen engine in a higher resolution; poor textures, disgraceful framerate, awful motion blur, static shadows...

Yeah, you keep saying that to yourself if it makes you feel any better, fact is that 90% of the games don't show significant performance improvements compared to the demo...

I agree with that also.. Not a lot of games have improved on demo-issues when released.. Some do, but I doubt this game will, also because it's from EA..

After having played the demo I unfortunatly had to scrach this game of my list again.. For some reason it just didn't feel right when playing it.. Dunno what it was exactly, car-handling, lack of graphical greatness, the blurr used, or the unstable framerate, but it just didn't feel right.. To bad, because it looked fun with the online-modes etc..

Now I just hope Forza 2 won't dissapoint, because I'm really looking forward to a new good and fun proper racinggame.. I feel the Xbox 360 is a bit lacking at racinggames at the moment imho.. The only good one sofar has been PGR3 imho, and the only ones to look forward to atm are Forza 2 and CM: Dirt.. I really miss games like RalliSportChallenge or DTM etc..
