Blue Dragon images and video

Blue Dragon images and video

The Blue Dragon party is still going on with our usual 2 images and video of the game. The 720p video wasn't complete so you'll have to suffer through a 1024x576 version.

*Drool* I haven't seen a japanese rpg that I have wanted to play so much in a long time this has the potential to surpass chrono trigger!

This baby being 3 discs pretty much assures there are going to be some beautiful places to see in this game.

I'm dying to find out the real deal behind the shadows and why they showed up at this time. Pretty sure there are many other twists and turns in this rpg, but I simply have no idea what they are, but with sakaguchi they are sure to be good :)

I wouldn't be surprised if there is a greater evil than the purple guy we've been seeing thus far. There's also a possibility we could have an early run in with him in which there is no way we can win.

i just worry that many will ignore the game because its on 3 disks, or atleast put up a stink about disk size.

I don't think the 3 disc thing will be why people ignore it, people will ignore it because it's not on the PS3.

But then that's their loss, and a sequel is already been confirmed, so it's all good. :)

I can't wait for this game, and FFVII seems to be a lot of people's favorites and that was multiple disk, so I don't think people will care that much.

And on a side note, Culdecept Saga is coming out soon, Blim are you getting it? I'm really interested in that one.

Exactly.... Tons of games for ps1 had multiple disks. Actually..... a lot of them had four. I was just talking about this with someone else the other day (multiple disks) and I'm pretty sure it isn't a big deal. I mean, if using only one disk limits you to making a game that isn't what you want, why make a crapy game when you could just use another disk and have the original game you planed on making?

Don't worry about the Multi-Disk complaints. Those people are just trying their best to find a fault with the game. Hell you saw the same thing with Gears of War, complaing about the SP length and the 4vs4 multiplayer. But did that stop it from being an Amazing game? Heck no. Same rules apply here. Blue Dragon will be an Awesome game, regardless if you have to change discs 2 times while playing through. Even doh complaing about the number of discs a game has is just, Sad.

Nothing compares to old skool PC gaming, changing floppys every level..

I would be interested to know how much space the FMV takes up over those 3 disc's though, what makes this game strange is that the FMV is using in game assets, I don't see the need to have FMV when they are so close to doing it in game.

In fact it's at the point where i don't know if im looking at CGI or in game with this game anymore.

@ Jolli, you'll see the only difference on the edges of characters or objects, you'll always see a slight jaggy when something is in-game.

And the CG parts use a lot of effects, so it is kind of nesecary to use cg.

I know that, but my point is there is no need to do it out of game these days, there is hardly a noticeable difference.

But this game is not compress so it can be on 1or2 Disc?

The edges on the characters are actually only noticable in screenshots if you watch videos of the game in motion it looks just as clean as the cg.

For example even these 720p videos for some strange reason don't look as good as this here in terms of colors.
