i can't wait for this game
PS2 userbase = 100+ million PS2s -> more potential buyers -> more $$$ and less $$$ goes for expensive next-gen development.
Basically you could think this'll be one way to earn cash to make next-gen games (cheaper to develope for PS2, a Tomb Raider 1 Remake could sell really well -> more profitable -> extra cash can be used for "REAL" next-gen development)
Yeah, Sony's to blame for selling so many consoles... </sarcasm>
Why don't you blame M$ for dumping the Xbox (it's no longer in production) and shoddy backwards-compatibility (PS3-only gamers will still be able to play TRA)?
Pretty Much take the first tomb raider and give it what legends has.
