The demo isn't even arcadey, it's damn easy. It basically controls the throttle and brake for you. If the final game is atleast more challenging, I'll be all over this one.

Turn off the driver aids in the demo ( which you can do ) and try it again.

Got my eye on this one! I'm not a BIG formula 1 fan (more WRC) but by what I have seen so far, this game is on my list along with the new GT Force steering wheel and one of those game pods! There are definately options in this game to make it more arcade like for a pick up and play approach and of course....... the hardcore simulation where its hard to get round 1 lap! cant wait :)

nice car models, but the texturing and surroundings are really quite basic, looks like lots of corners were cut to keep it fast and smooth and get it out in time

According to joystiq, the game is arcade in feel. Also there is no multiplayer in the japan release :-/

I was actually sort of suprised that this game looks better while you're driving than it does in replays. In motion and in game though I think it's a pretty solid looking game, just based off the demo, which is lacking a lot of the cool effects that we've seen in other images and videos online.

Am I the only one who can't get the third video to work?

Says I dont have the right codec but the first two videos ran without problems.

Downloaded it again came out to 314MB and does not run.

I should have most of the codecs available as I watch a whole bunch of divx Prawn and Movies

Yup, my statement still stands, this is the best looking racer out right now, to me. However, Motorstorm looks damn good, but still, I'm not a big fan of the concept. So Ima be biased :P
