Page << 1 2Well Jolli, I think the reason to add English in a Japanese game from beginning to end, is to have a mainstream people from US to pick this up, kind of like Lost Planet.
Now I havent played the Japanese version of LP so I dont know if JAP language is optional or not...ah well.
Also, why bother with the gun if you can essentially run around with noone stopping you? :)
If this wasn't made by Ubisoft, I'd have said they blatantly ripped off Splinter Cell..but well can I still say that? :)
So for first impressions: as a full-priced title, it seems not to be worth it. Perhaps as a budget title, it would be a great addition to the library of any horror game fan. It just seems as if there should be more, not only in terms of gameplay but even in terms of presentation where the environments seem blocky and lack imagination.
I'm looking forward to seeing what they can do with a PS3 version; perhaps they can improve animations and work up the textures a bit to make it seem more "nextgen" for the gamers out there looking for more bang for their buck.
BlimBlim, any chance you could post some footage of the bad guys (vampires?) to see how they react in action sequences.
...well...instant classic, isn't it?
the graphics look pretty good to me, and gameplay looks good.
i might pick it up, the videos have changed my mind alot..thanks. Hope to see some more videos with fighting against the enemies
*NOTE*
when i clicked rain part 2 (44.92MB) (640X360) it played part 1. Had to choose (1280X720) version to see part 2
25% of the moves from Splinter Cell, the call system of Metal Gear, and vampires.

And it's something I simply can't do. There is something inside my head that prevents me from doing anything remotely like stealth. Heck, I had a very time with Zelda Wind Waker stealth sequence...
No more video until someone comes home and plays the game.
Blim did you get Idol Master..?

The voice acting and the script in total is complete trollop ...they obviously couldn't afford mocap cos the animation is turd, on the evidence of the 20 minutes action free sequence (even mario gives you some action straight off the bat) I imagine there's loads more "filler segments" to attempt to bulk up the story...
ps2 grapics ...the water effect when he took a dip in the sewer was less than ps2 tbh, chaos theory on xbox rendered rain far better and the wet fabric effect as well...
it's 2007 and this is launching on the 360 and the PS3?!?! can any sympathisers compare this with GRAW?! a 2006 title, or the mass onscreen AI on Kameo? if this was a launch title it would still be below par ...and you know it's gonna carry the same price tag as Splinter Cell? the game should carry C+ rating ...CRAP! and then some.
I've never posted here but I love xboxyde for great vids but this really extracts the urine
Clearly this is an extremely low budget company (atleast I'd assume that from looking at this footage) and I wonder how they can make a profit at all out of a game like this...

Could be interesting, character models are decent. Cutscenes are great, even if there's no action. Is Lloyd a vampire himself? How did he survive that? He must've killed all those people himself!
The graphics are pretty decent and hunting down vampires in the night using stealth sparks a certain interest in me.
I will pick up this game when I get the chance
