If this game had a better story it would be excellent the engine is much better than GTA in my opinion and CO-OP is a blast.

i thought from day 1 that this was gonna be hit and miss with many people,im afraid to say that the demo dident impress me ,the size did,but the game itself didnt,but then again im bored of these GTA type games,infact i was bored by the time the 3rd GTA got released

All my friends have now played the demo, and from their impressions, I'm pretty sure the game is going to be a hit. Most of them say they will buy the game, and I'm pretty sure I will too (It depends on my paycheck ;)).

I really loved this game demo, and I am now doing like Major N., looking everywhere if I can find any agility orbs :p

Actually I was walking around in downtown Montreal the other day, and wondered how I would get to the top of the buildings if I had the crackdown skills :p

Looks ok , but still think is a crappy game and youre just buying the HALO 3 beta for $60 plus tax and getting Crackdown for free.

Why do you think it is a crappy game? I bet a lot of people would still buy it even if there was no Halo 3 beta. I personally could give a shit about mp Halo.

I honestly don't give a crap about about the Halo3 beta after playing the demo. I'm totally addicted to Crackdown - and I know I'm not alone. I'd bet that most people that played the demo would agree...

Bullshit. I don't like FPS at all and I'd definitely would have bought Crackdown if I didn't get it for free :D

HAO 3 beta is just a gimmik to make people buy this but it's totally worth it.

I think the inclusion of the Halo 3 beta invitation has actually had a negative affect...

This game on its own merit is going to sell very well.

Blim, after I saw the game introduced in its ten minute glory, I'd have to say that I'm much impressed. I never really gave the demo a chance. GTA's engine was always clunky and never meant to be visually impressive, but this title is more pleasing to the eye. I wonder what the new GTA will look like, the devs have never gotten the graphics right, but this time the game won't be ported from the obsolete hardware that was the PS2 which I blame alot for slow evolution of gaming. It did have the strongest install base, but let's face it the hardware capabilities didn't warrant it.

Thanks Blim, but I will sadly not watch of the videos you do. I can't wait to get this game and experience it all myself, the beta is just an extra at this point.

Well, to the first person (with a real comment) taht said the story wasn't as deep as he wanted, and to others that aren't really liking what they are seeing right now...

It's not GTA, it doesn't have an immensely deep story line, the core of the game is really build around the fun that I personally had with all the GTA games, and that's free-roaming around a totally living city and having a total blast just doing random stuff. When I was done with the story in GTA, which was always top notch, I continued playing cause the world was always so entertaining. This game seems to focus on that free-roaming since even the mission structure caters to it, just drive, jump, run around and kill guys and if you are near something important they will tell you and you can do it, or not, whatever you want.

If you play the demo and aren't appreciating the buildings every time you climb them, then you are NOT a free-roaming type person and should not play this game.

Everyone think they include the Invatation for the Beta of Halo 3 to make sales better. You are wrong f you think that, they made the BETA invatation on this game because it is Xbox 360 exclusive and comes out at the time when Bungie where hoping to release the demo.

I'm looking forward to this game. It has cult game written all over it. Although not that obvious at first its style and game play are truly next gen.

The fact that it comes with Halo 3 invite is an added bonus.
Imagine if microsoft had packaged the Halo 3 invite with Barbie Horse Adventure 360? then you would have cause for complaint!

I think it lost "cult" status ever since it got the Halo 3 pack-in.

After the demo I'm more than sold on this game. This video pretty much shows all demo stuff aside from the intro video. I look forward to more.
