Hmm..the graphics look very old-gen to me. It would be interesting to see things in motion and how the controls work. I remember playing a spiderman game on the PC a while back and it was absolutely horrible..

Spidey looks AWESOME, everything else looks like my arsehole after a curry.

Yeah they seem to have the idea that making the character model look next-gen is enough for us to ignore the terrible environments.

the gameplay is what made spiderman 1 & 2 awesome, especially 2, free roam ftw!

I think I'll stick with Crackdown for my superhero-like gameplay, at least Realtime Worlds knows how to get the visuals and gameplay right. Not sure what the development platform was for this game, but it obviously wasnt next gen.

Yeah i really enjoyed spiderman 2 and it's massive free-roaming gameplay.. but i'm not touching this...

Some of you are forgetting that this will set in be a huge open ended city, like GTA, graphics wont look like GoW because of the technical limitations set by games in this genre.

I played spider man on th ps2 but after a while i got sick of it hope this 1 is better, trailer looks ok.

Yeah, of course it won't look like GoW, but it doesn't look nearly as good as games like Saint's Row and Crackdown do either, which as far as I remember, are also in a GTA-like environment... As mentioned above, it's due to the game being developed for both old gen and new gen consoles.

Personally, I'll pass and wait for one that's made completely for next gen consoles.

Nothing really impressive here, however, I've never been able to see Spiderman in such detail. You can even see the honey comb like texture on his suit thanks to HD.

Looks like the GameBoy Advance Version. ...or I hope so. ;)

PS3 version gets Goblin as a playable character :(

Let's hope the one after this really uses the next gens power, this is the type of game where the graphics can really make your heart pound, in a good way of course.

dont know really what to say about what i saw, does look very last gen but i can deal with that as long as the gameplay is very fun and solid.

My God that needs a lot of work on the visuals.

Most Action anime shows are basically about superheroes.

Just replace the costumes with Wacky hair and metrosexual clothing and masks with girly faces.

That was probably Spiderman 2, which was so different from the console versions. The console version rocked. I'll definitly buy this, if it's like spiderman 2 on the consoles and it looks like it is.
