Looks cool I hope they keep that kinda hand-cam view at least an option to play with in the game.

EDIT: Could this be the next Thrasher? I hope so.

Well, the interesting take on this game is not how it looks but how it plays. If it's just another Tony Hawk clone, then I pass, but if it plays very realistic (unlike Tony) then I will probably give it a go go.

How 'realistic' can you get with a skating game without you actually physically skating, anyway?

wtf is with all the grainy shit? looks good anyway (nothing like the renders/artworks released earlier) but still good.

You can change the buttons around so that its more difficult to pull off a kickflip rather than just pushing X and to the left.

This game doesnt use the buttons for tricks. It utilizes the rt tumbstick, making it more difficult, yet rewarding to master tricks, just like real skating. I think it was an IGN preview I read, they said its makes kickfliping a set of stairs fun again, where as tony hawk you can do it with ease and its gets boring real quick. They said instead of building up stats like in tony hawk, your player already starts off at his peak, but it;s up to your skill to pull the tricks off and master the tricks, again, like real skating. It got great feedback from thos who played it. I personally cant wait, from what ive seen and read it already surpasses Tony Hawk, as a Realistc skate game, something I've been waiting for

Exactly !

Guys, go check out the latest interview video on gametrailers.com, type "skate" in the search field and see for yourself, this looks and also sounds good. Can't wait !

In Tony Hawk you can flip 15 stairs first try, of course it's fun, but a little bit of competition never hurt anybody ! Can't believe I'm anticipating an EA game o_O...

I hopw they'll somehow use the analog sticks for kickflips and such, just like in the latest Tony Hawk.

But instead of going into slow-motion, you do it in realtime...

And your wish came true mate.

Again, check my previous post and look for videos, many good things explained.

Yeah, I saw that and I know they are doing things differently, but I can't find anything that suggests that it works the way I just described.?!

Cheers for that.

Yeah, you're right.
I checked that vid again and he does mention using the analog sticks indeed. :)

I'm very interested in this game now..!
