Codemasters announced today that Operation Flashpoint 2 was planned for a 2008 release on next-gen systems and PC, and would be their biggest game to date in term of production. The game itself will used the Neon engine already being the base of Colin Mc Rae: Dirt. First screen inside.
Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum By FAR, the upcoming Game of Thrones King’s Road was the Game of the Show! It plays like God of War Ragnarok! :) (> 3 Months ago)

Commented on 2007-04-19 21:34:50I guess now that the name is now owned by codemasters, then the gameplay will probably be more accessible.

That screen looks incredible!
If the game even comes close to looking like that... Hells bells man wow!

Commented on 2007-04-20 11:07:41 In reply to jubilexscreen does look really good. I also doubt if it's real though, but we will see soon enough. No doubt that the neon engine is among the best engines at the moment, and easily more versitile than cryengine. Some of the Dirt screens look almost as good, so I'll give codemasters the benefit of doubt here... great stuff!

Commented on 2007-04-20 16:24:54Bohemia Interactive made a 1.5 to Ofp named ArmA, not a sequal, it was more or less ofp on an updated engine to look more pretty.
Anyway if you want a, lets face, damn awesome looking game follow codemasters, but if you want a game true to ofp, look to Bis.
PS if you want a realistic shot of OFP2, browse the web for them, and believe me they look NOTHING like this picture, so dont get your hopes up on them keeping up this fascade.
Commented on 2007-04-20 17:02:13Also you can see rough edges around the helmet and the distance is blurred which to me shows this is indeed in-game and there is ntohing there to make me think otherwise.
After all, this is next-gen.
People set their expectations way too low just ebcause the early games didn't look "OMGWOW".
