The assault rifle and carbine are nice and powerful now it seems. Spike grenades look awesome as well, really brutal (excuse the pun)

its called splattering. anyways personally snowbound is my least favourite level aesthetically from what i have seen so far. haven't played it so obviously have no idea about how fun it is. what do others think? Personally I prefer maps on earth rather than alien levels or different weather conditions.

Looks like this gametype is a lot of fun. It's a mixture of Juggernaut and Assassination from GoW. Didn't like Assassination much tho.

Can't wait for the beta to open up. I have been holding Crack Down from game fly for a month now, just to play the beta.

To comment earlier about the types of levels I like. SNowbound is one of my favorite maps visually. It captures a lot of the natural beauty of snowy areas, while still having clear skies and bright sunlight. Plus snow environments to me are really alien (having lived in tropical climates most of my life) and I love movies like Thing where you have these aliens right at home in snowy places, it's really cool. Every map I've seen so far I've liked. I guess it's the thing about halo, it's earth but it's not.

Also notice on snowbound you can't see the rest of the halo ring as you do in other levels.

I guess if enough is said about it it will be limited. THe beta's all about what will work and what won't. It may or may not be changed final, but there may be options on what weapons can be restricted.
