Yea, graphics are outdated (sort of pandora tommorow time moment). But i am weak for this game, free roam for people with good taste. As for the definition of "good taste" i got this from wiki:

For a giant, free-roaming open world, where everything its fully destructible I think it looks fantastic

Looks okay for a free-roaming game but... I think the shots were carefully chosen to hide the flat lighting. So, maybe Just Cause is an apt comparison.

the models remind me on fifa 07 the playermodels are to shiny and look like plastic

The first mercs' gameplay was cool, so the sequel will probably be as good. Besides it's the first free roaming game with an entirely destructible environment, o it's not really fair to draw a comparison between this and just cause, which was good looking but became quite boring after a while.

I think it looks ok for what the game is. Though if the game disappoints then the graphics have no justification.

So basically the trailer was from 360 version of the game? I'm curious how PS3 version looks... I hope a bit better.

Anyway, it's sad the gam doesn't have as good graphics as it should have. There's no hype because of that and a few people are actually excited about it. :(

Heh, I heard PS3 is lead development platform and if it has better graphics it will atract more gamers to the game and the game will have bigger fanbase. Though I doubt it will be looking better, if that was the case Pandemic would show us footage from PS3 version instead.

yeah thats wat people still wont get in their heads, if you have a open area with so much gameplay mechanics graphics wont be as good as they would be if you had a linear gameplay. since the developers would have a very hard to getting every single inch of the gameworld looking perfect, and even if they did manage to do that it would probably be very laggy due to the amount of stuff in the world.thats because Just Cause doesnt have fully destructable enviorments which made it easier to make the enviorment look better. but mercenaries has all of the things you can do in Just Cause, and more. plys you can blow stuff up in this game and cant in that.
