Images of Sega Rally

Sega just unveiled 6 new screens of Sega Rally, still scheduled for October. Unfortunately for Sega, DiRT is already on stores and the comparison is obvious. Let's hope they can surprise us in a better way with the next showing of the game, hands-on.

Whoa does ice build up on the bumpers?

That snow looks kind of bad, but it's nice. (wait that sounds wrong)

It seems to have been downgraded a bit. Pics 4 and 5 in particular. Also, the snow and mud buildup on bumpers looks like it's been laminated. Still has promise though. If it's a tenth as good as the Saturn game then I'll be happy.

I'll take Sega Rally over DIRT anyday of the week.

Looks great. Reminds me of the original and still best Sega Rally 1 for Saturn/Arcade.

Might actually do the original justice unless they're planning on pushing two of these in a year like they raped the Sonic franchise.

i think the snow is really shaving foam...since when does snow stick to your car in huge chunks like that...lol.

DiRT still owning everything thus far it seems...including this.

I think it looks good.. I don't think this game is going to be much of anything like Dirt, but we'll see. I'm expecting something completely different.

This is the type of rally game I want. The big outdoors with mud, ice, snow, dirt everywhere, racing against other cars.

Graphics look nice but the gameplay looked way too arcade going by the video that came out a while ago.

Ahh ok you mean the really realistic handling and the awesome brakeing ?? Yeah sure it owns V Rally 1 maybe but only just. I use to be a big CM fan but they have just made a mess of it. Just look in the CM forums.

Richard Burns still the top dog for a proper rally game, this looks good and I bet the physics are alot better on this than on that Dirt game.

Graphics look good and if its anything like Sega Rally II it will good fun.

Frozpot @Doom_Bringer: Thanks for the Shattered Horizon Pass. It was interesting, even though they could have done much more with the graphics... (2 Hours ago)

IRAIPT0IR Agreed,in this one I wanted more with each mission and all were different unlike AC that I was bored in the first hour :O (4 Hours ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 Yeah it's brilliant. I wouldn't say it's nothing like AC1, but AC1 just seems like a bizarrely long, super early demo of 2. (4 Hours ago)
  • IRAIPT0IR
IRAIPT0IR No,the feeling not the taste XD....I played AC2 yesterday and it was awesome indeed, its hard to believe that the same team made AC1 its nothing like it. (4 Hours ago)
