E3: Top Spin 3 announced

2K Sports today announced that they are bringing Top Spin 3 to Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 the upcoming spring. We get the normal stuff - online multiplayer, create your own player, and hopefully there will be some more stuff announced later on. First images inside.

Yeah, the closeup is not very realistic. Table Tennis has much more realistic faces.

Graphics look decent at this early stage. Still, nothing to suggest it will be different from other tennis games, or top spin 1 and 2 (besides the graphics). Just hope it plays well. I'm a sucker for tennis games! :D

I may be seeing a different set of shots than you guys. In the screens I see, there is great lighting, wonderful skin texture(especially in the face)/cloth is OK/ and very convincing veins in the player's leg. Maybe my monitor has some different settings than other folks, but this looks great.

The indoor court floor looks brilliant but I am not overly impressed with the graphics anyway, let's hope we have a lot more options gameplay-wise

I enjoyed both TS1 and TS2. I just hope they have focused more on gameplay over graphics.

Oh i love tennis and tennis games. Will definately be buying this even if it ends up being barely any different to the other. I really hope they try to really take the production values up though...i really think tennis games would be easy to sorta recreate a tv live experience, with proper replays and more than 3 end of point animations. AND PLEASE HAVE BAGHDATIS!!!

Doom_Bringer @GriftGFX: well Dragon age extracted is suppose to be arround 20 gigs but the download was only 8 gigs or 15 gigs...procedure might be different for newer games (2 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 45 minutes for this game would have to be like... 3+ megabytes per second. My Comcast can't do that. (18 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX My FFOW DL is almost 12.9 gigs and like 95% done. (19 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX

  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer D2D file right now is 9.2 GB's. I think it was less when I was downloading it (now its extracted) I am pretty sure Steam works the same way. 12 gb is probably the extracted size :P (26 minutes ago)
