It's no real surprise to see Sony announce a Gran Turismo 5: Prologue game on PSN for the end of the year. But since it's looks awesome, I'm willing to let it slide.

where dows the grass look poor? i'm asolutely impressed, the PSN GTHD was just nice but this blows everthing away. can'n wait to play this with SIXAXIS ^^
but i still can't believe that this will be ingame @ 60fps.. ok, 30fps are absolutely enough but even that would be something that i expected to see in about two or three years but not now...

Looks good, but it has to very stiff competition from PGR4 in the graphics department. I find it hard to believe anyone will top those graphics

Bullshots, aside from the single car shots which are heavily aliased. I don't think the cars look very photorealistic, they look like they are made out of PVC.

Looks very real.. But offcourse these are shots from the replay- or photomode.. Noway you get this high resolution with massive AA and playable fps ingame on the PS3 (or Xbox 360 for that matter)..

Look at image 12, the BMW badge on the side of the car reads "WMB"... woops, better inspect your textures twice after applying a symmetry :)

It seems Polyphony really nailed cars' look, they look more realistic than cars in PGR4 without that high resolution reflections. Environments look very good, too, if the game is indeed 1080p60.

Is GT5 going to have an in-car view? I find it troubling that these so called "simulators" don't offer the optimal point of view when racing. I think they could easily cut half of the rubbish cars in Gran Turismo and spend that development time implementing interior views for all the vehicles. The immersion factor would be incredible, especially when playing with a steering wheel.
