Nippon Ichi have wrong growed arms
OMG people if you played Disgaea you would know that it is the best SRPG on any system, well second best FF Tactics is still number one. The graphix dont matter the gameplay does !
I agree completely. I still find this a bit strange though. Seems to me that it would have made sense to make this a PS2 game. Bigger install base, and PS3 users could still play it.
Exactly. Besides, why should Disgaea be the one game that gets a pass for having last-gen graphics on next-gen consoles? It's not like good gameplay and good graphics are mutually exclusive. This is just laziness on the devs part. I mean, any 2-D game coming out on next-gen systems should look at LEAST as good as Odin Sphere IMO.
I'm not bashing the game at all though, I think there's a good chance it will be a very solid SRPG I just think the platform choice is a bit odd.. unless their using some of the PS3's other features, don't ask me how though. As it is though I just don't see the logic in releasing this for the PS3 and not the PS2.. especially when the PS3's backwards computability is so high.
