Nobi Nobi Boy announed

Namco has a great surprise for the attendees of the Playstation Premiere yesterday since Keita Takahashi, creator of Katamary Damacy who had been told to have quit the videogames world, was on hand to show his new concept called Nobi Nobi Boy. These 3 images are from a 30 seconds demo showing nothing more than this strange character on a gray background. You are confused? Good, that's what he expected!

I can see from these pictures this game is gonna be awesome. It's pure genius!!

Well, what can one say. You instantly recognize the design. The prince was cooler but this looks really freaky as well. Since i liked katamari a little game play from this would be nice.

Anyway this is about stretching appareantly.
In Katamari you collected stuff and became a ball, in this one you collect stuff to stretch.

Yes, it SOUNDS very Snake like but I'm sure it will be something slightly more interesting.

Never enjoyed Katamari (was very boring to be honest) so I'm not interested in
this UNLESS it's a cheap PSN game.

You probably have to control both ends of the "nobi nobi boy" with the both analog sticks, or it's a 2 player game and each end is controlled by the other user. The goal can be tripping people, to trying solving puzzles that can only be solved doing simultaneous actions.

I think the six-axis is going to be used mainly, its made for quarky games like this.
