Im a bit worried that this game will pale a bit in comparison with colin cmrae dirt, I know that this isn't aiming to be as realistic as mcrae but mcrae is the prefect balance between realism and fun. Im hoping that sega tries to aim for a bit more realism than the previous games as well as a really good multiplayer mode.
I really impressed by the track deformation as it actually affects the way the tracks play unlike the pretty but useless track deformation in motorstorm.

No the mud in motorstorm only changes the textures and it doesn't have any effect on the handling.

it does affect handling and suspensions etc, and there is minor track deformation, but 90% of it is just texture effects, sonys lies that the poor devs couldnt live up to.

Yea but the cars lack weight in Colin Mcrae, the turning just doesn't feel right. Hopefully this game will feel more like an arcade Rallisport.

colin is a bit more arcade thats why, ... as for motorstorm... lol dude that deformation and handling/suspension effect is even less than that... its more like 98% texture effect... this game on the other hand is liker acing to the next level!

hello nextgen offroad (btw i liked colin's :) )

So they use a different technique.. what's the argument here? You even state that it still effects suspension and handling.. and for the record, it's a pretty solid game.

A totally different sort of game than what we see here anyway.. there's room for more than one off road racing game. If anything is a next-gen (it's not next anymore btw) offroad, it's probably not this.. hopefully this is a this-gen Sega Rally instead.

PlumbDrumb It was flawless with 3.0, but after the update the scrolling is all hitchy, especially across the bottom of the page. Maybe it's the Top Stories section, I don't know... (49 minutes ago)
