I have no idea what's happening right now, but I think this will be a legendary week with nothing less than two Gamersyde Diaries episodes! Don't get too used to it though... This time we got to discover Army Of Two at a Hotel in Paris - which walls were covered with nice porno-chic pictures- in presence of the lead designer of the game. After a presentation of three levels and a few more things, we got to annoy him with our questions and we tell you what we thought about the whole thing.

I love that you guys don't hold back. Too many previews totally ignore the negative but you guys really do say what you think, I especially like that you called the guy out on the ridiculous "tampon" minigame.

You can give each other a little high-five for that! :)

Yet again, very good preview. I love it that you do the reviewing by conversations. It's interesting to hear 2 opinions at the same time comparing the aspects you liked and disliked. Also, like slabs said, its good you also speak of the negative aspects. Especially when they're that important.

altho the dev handled your negativity about the tampon minigame very well considering you put him on the spot, now if only sony and microsofts PR guys could do that :P

Great video.

Game got some nice touches have to say but also got alot of bad points seems to be a mixed bag.

Is the game 2 player co op local or just online. ?

lots of interesting ideas.
But lots of others rip offs from Gears, not concepts thats ok i guess, but like melee kills and the blood on the screen? How much more ripped from gears can this be?!

Gears of War isn't exactly the first game to have the cover stop and pop gameplay. Kill.switch did it before, Gears just did it better. So can we not call it a rip off seeing as Gears didn't even do it first.

Anyway, it does look very nice. Team Deathmath would be very fun though. I haven't heard anything about it though so I don't think it'll be in the game.

graphically it looks great, the lighting in this game is really something. But yeah snoopers and the other guy covered it well. I don't like the trauma centre like healing mini game but otherwise the game looks pretty good.

Well the way the guy put it, it certain did sound kind of dick-ish, but what he says is true to an extent. Like his example of Gears. If you try to play Gears like a run-and-gun FPS then you are going to be on your ass waiting for a revive for most of the game. And his point that in Army of Two you MUST play as a team sounds great to me. There's too many games where co-op is a tacked on afterthought. It's good to see one where it's the core idea of the game.

All games need to borrow ideas from other games, but not just use the same exact concept- advance it and build upon it.

Hmm... to be honest after watching this I am much less excited for Army of Two. The core gameplay does look pretty stale and generic.

Very good video preview, much better than the one on 1up show. It's actually very funny that head of that studio said Gears of War is not innovative at all, and then they base the core gameplay on Gears of War with additional stuff. :)
