I don't know, I think over all God of War still looks better. Conan has some decent bump mapped textures and OK lighting in some spots but others really do look worse than GoW. Also, from what I have seen so far the art direction just doesn't hold up in comparison especially for PS3 owners who will have both Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Heavenly Sword. At least it has breasts.

All the videos they released made the game look like a mess which it is mind you. Honeslty. uninspired art direction and messy combat if you ask me. I really want to like the game but I cant!

God of War looks better? A single tentacle on that octopus has more detail than an entire scene in God of war.. this is pretty impressive for a non-godly studio.

you should watch some vidoes of this...the frame rate is crap, normal map overload. The game doesn't look good at all. The small shots are hiding the flaws

well i liked this game since i 1st saw it, looks bloody, and the hot damsel in distress is hot LOL, not like mario where the princess is short and chubby. joking!!! wish they had a demo :(

Conan was planned to be a game since 99... this game haven't a "uninspired art direction", THIS is a game of a comic (classic) and is made with the comic as reference.
Just shut up when you don't know about Conan!
Graphics "nice". Need improvement in framerate... but looks good. ^^

Isn't this game a MMORPG?, if so I don't see how it's a rip off, and Conan was doing his thing in films when Kratos was in his nappies.

I think this Conan is the single player one, there is a MMO one being made it's called Age of Conan - Hyborian Adventures for the PC.

...yeah seriously the ''god of war rip off'' thing is getting reeeeaaally old now. This game borrows from a lot of the best 3rd person action games, ninja gaiden & devil may cry too. I'm very impressed with the images and the videos. So what if it's trying to be epic like god of war? This is what a Conan game has to be!

Trust me, I'm the biggest god of war fan, but I don't want god of war to be the only game of it's kind. I want to see more n' more 3rd person games with sword wielding heroes/ gore/ and qte. Conan had to be made this way!

I like Conan. I think i kind of like what i've seen of this game so far too. I want a demo or something though, to tell if the game is actually playable cause i don't have any beefs with the graphics. Also, why whine about it being a god of war clone? It's a god damn action game, you mess up monsters and there's blood. God of war isn't the original action title, i promise.

Not only is it obviously not a direct rip off gameplay wise, the setting and characters were created in 1932. Visually it takes from conan comics of the 70's through nineties from Marvel, Frazetta's art work, and the Darkhorse books that started in 2003. GoW wouldn't be the game it is if it wasn't for the grand dad of sword and sorcery, Conan.
So um yeah even though the setting of GoW is ancient greece, the stories of the time were light on the things that actually make up GoW.
I hope it turns out well. The screens don't look too bad. BTW I'm not ranting at one person just spreading knowledge.

Im a great fan of conan, so i hope that this game gonna be good
