GC07: EndWar images

GC07: EndWar images

I'm still looking around the Ubisoft Press Kit to find some new stuff, and I guess I miss a few things, like these Tom Clancy's EndWar images.

An RTS that lets you drop a nuke ... its Red alert two all over again *5 minutes to launch* lol ... ofc this game has realistic modern warfare mechanics and ofc weaponary. If the controls are right im sure it will turn out a quite solid game.

But the images look like concept arts. It's never ingame...
Or perhaps in-game with some additional works via PhotoShop ^^

That explosion looks too good to be true...

Must be pre-rendered, but the 1st image could definitely be in-game.

I'm hoping this will be what OFP (for pc) could just as well have been: An exelent, (almost) contemporary RTS with accurate modeling of both damage and looks!

Correct. This is exclusive to 360 and PC.
Should be interesting times for RTS on 360. You have this, Halo Wars and the Sid Miers game. C&C 3 had ok controls but it screamed of a PC port so im hoping some of these RTS's, especially Halo Wars, which are designed from ground up for consoles, can finally nail the control system and show that RTS can be done WELL using a controller.

  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer @GriftGFX: well Dragon age extracted is suppose to be arround 20 gigs but the download was only 8 gigs or 15 gigs...procedure might be different for newer games (3 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 45 minutes for this game would have to be like... 3+ megabytes per second. My Comcast can't do that. (3 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX My FFOW DL is almost 12.9 gigs and like 95% done. (3 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Steam appears to download extracted and installed, there's no install process once you finish downloading a game. (4 Hours ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer D2D file right now is 9.2 GB's. I think it was less when I was downloading it (now its extracted) I am pretty sure Steam works the same way. 12 gb is probably the extracted size :P (4 Hours ago)
