looks savage!
Was it meant to be master chief??
Can you sprint in Halo 3?? I hope they use that shaky cam stuff like Epic did in Gears of War.
And like XSAVAGE said, no that was NOT the chief. Those were Helljumpers (ODST's)!

Works for a video game but as a movie it looks stupid. Come on' be honest. I knew a halo movie could not be done right, it needs to be like Aliens. And the people working on it will never understand that.
This would do awful at the movie theaters. I'm a huge halo fan and I wouldn't go see this. Comes off more like Starship Troopers then A true halo Sci-fi movie.
It's has to be revolutionary they have to really push the look and feel of the movie, Aliens in it's time was like nothing ever seen before, and you really believed you where their on that ship. (If you can't do that with halo leave it alone.)
Someone tell them to call me, I can make this movie right, that 15 seconds in Aliens Vs Predator when they fight each other and the Predator gets scratched on it's head and then grabs the alien and spins it around to throw it. -Halo has to be like that 15 seconds of action but for 2 hours.
They just won't do this movie right, because they just don't know how to.
But anyway, I agree with Crazyglues. While this one was better than the previous short, it still doesn't look any better for the movie overall. I also don't like Neil's style. I've checked his out his other shorts, to my disliking.
This isn't the halo movie just the director Neil Blomkampf having some fun with the unfinished assets. these aren't scenes from the actual movie. theses are just shorts people.
you can bet that the actual movie is going to have a lot more production value.
FYI Crazyglues - movie studios didn't think it was a bomb, they wanted to try and make more money off of it.
"Both of the studios that agreed to co-finance the screen adaptation of the popular Microsoft game have abruptly backed out of the picture. While rumors had the studios concerned over a budget that was rising above the original projected $135 million pricetag, the filmmakers said the double defection came after (U and Fox played hardball and unsuccessfully tried to get the filmmakers and Microsoft to reduce their profit participation)."

In other words fox and universal wanted more rights to a movie that they thought was going to be a big hit.
