ditto to that. best feature of halo 3 so far imo. this will be a god send for creating methods of getting past certain areas on legendary and posting it to help people out, i can imagine a lot of movie based FAQS coming from this game.

Looks like I gotta invest in a bigger harddrive for all my "omg WTF!!!" killing sprees i'm sure to want to hold onto over the years.
I am sure those replay files are quite small.
bungie stated that you aren't actually storing video files (like .wmv or .avi files), but rather you are storing data that will allow the movie viewer recreate the events with the Halo 3 engine based on the data.
so that is why movies of battles in the halo 3 beta were like between 5-9 megs for a 10 minute battle.
Yeah hopefully they have a good way of compressing them. I remember old CS demo's taking up 60 meg a pop before you zipped them up.

Good news on the file size tho. Anything to avoid the ridiculous price of a 120gig HD
Videos of the game were pretty popular in Halo 1, not so much Halo 2 it seemed. But this should make it even easier than before.
OH MY GOD you know i watched it again, can you believe how wicked that replay function is i can soooooooo see the movies already by all the crazy halo players... hell i'll use the camera just to look in places i havent been able to before
I hope all this talk about jaggies having being decreased considerably is true.
