GC07: Exclusive Halo 3 footage

We want to thank Microsoft, Bungie and most of all Brian Jarrard for the awesome exclusivity we just landed since we managed to shoot the 17 minutes long presentation of the single player part of Halo 3. This is the first part that's just supposed to be a small sample of the good stuff to come as soon as we make sure our servers are not melting. It showcases the incredible replay feature on the Tsavo Highway level you"ve all come to know and love already. Have fun :)
Update: First gameplay video showing the very beginning of the level.
Update 2: And the second one is online :)
Update 3: Third part of the presentation is online.
Update 4: Last update for today, with the second to last part of the presentation.
Update 5: And here comes the last part! The full presentation will be available in the next few days.

Colin, we all very much appreciate these vids, but wouldn't it have made more sense to zoom the camera in all the way to take advantage of HD? The actual game is taking up maybe half of the available screen real-estate. =[

and I agree. Was there a reason to not zoom any closer to the screen? Maybe something MS/Bungie wouldn't let you do?

nevertheless, awesome show and the game looks really good and much more important... fun!

But think of how absurdly difficult legendary will be! I've beaten Halo:CE and Halo 2 solo on Legendary, it's MUCH easier with 2 people. But think how they are going to tweek it so that it's still a challenge for FOUR people to go through on Legendary!!! I can not WAIT! Especially if the concept of the Brute Pack (as mentioned in "Et Tu Brute?") really flushes out to be a hard-ass AI to best.

Oo...I think my penis just threw up a bit in my pants.

They prolly want to leave the direct-feed high quality videos of their game official only, that way even if they DO show single player it's off a tv screen etc, which is exactly what they did there.
