Well, I haven't seen any video, too. Where did you see that vid Jolli???

I haven't seen a single video yet, didn't realise there was one. This was only recently announced so I think jolli is confused with something else.

The first pic is just cutscenes it looks like.
Second one leaves me pretty confused about why the environments look like that. Why is a tank driving through a town square in the middle of a city surrounded by trees like that?

öhm, well, why not? A tank normaly means WAR. And WAR also happens in beautiful towns surrounded by trees.... ??

Sure you're not confusing it with that turn based japanese war game, Jolli? Um..... Operation... Darkness? Or some such.

It still doesn't look much better, hard to tell obviously, but can't say im impressed, nice art style though.

Surely it not having vampire nazi werewolves should elevate it well above Operation Darkness though. :)

I can't really make out much in those screens. I'll wait to see better scans to get a better idea of what the game really looks like. Hopefully this game will be shown at TGS.

Are these the same people who made ring of fire or was it red ring or something like that for the ps2. I believe it was a mech game that was and turnbased strategy game.

Ummm... Isn't this mainly a strategy-RPG? It does have parts where you control the characters in real time instead of turn-based movement, but I doubt it will ever be even near "normal" action games, since your actions are limited by the AP the characters have. It's not fast-paced action, so it doesn't really matter even if it's a little clumsy.

Besides.. Uh... You know, Devil May Cry 1 & 3 are good action games, as is Ninja Gaiden. So... Yeah, your point proven false. :|

I played Devil May Cry and thought it was meh, haven't played Ninja Gaiden yet

Doom_bringer: come on, DMC 1 and 3 are great games and ninja gaiden is even better.

As for this game, the graphics remind me of Eternal sonata. A lot. Does not look particularly impressive though.
