Vivendi awakens abruptly and send us no less than twenty-two painful images of TimeShift, which a playable demo is available on the 360 marketplace since a few weeks. Phew.

Wow. I'm so glad this game was delayed for so long. It's looking exponentially better than it used to.
EDIT: Though I will admit, those character models look a bit funky.

game looks stunning, although it kinda plays like practically every FPS ever...with a very close resemblance to that of FEAR. i'll rent it, possibly buy it. although it'll definately be lost within the big titles coming soon.

Well, I don't think it's a stunner either. But if one can remember how Timeshift used to look at some point you have to agree it has come along way since then.
I think it has potential at least gameplay wise to deliver something unique. It will be interesting to see if will deliver.

I thought the demo was better than expected. I was expecting TimeShit and got TimeSoso instead.
This is in the meh-shooters category together with Fear, Quake4, The-one-with-the-indian (meh) and countless others.

After playing the demo I pretty much gave up all hope of this being anything better than a rental, but w/ Halo 3, PGR4, and CoD4 around the corner, who would make time for this?

visuals like this though in this fall line-up are not good enough to hold up with other games like halo or call of duty 4. maybe the gameplay might make up for it to some people but it still doesnt look that great.

This is nowhere near Xbox 1 graphically.
The textures, lighting, shaders, and resolution are all miles above what Xbox 1 could ever do, even if the models are mostly Xbox 1 level (didn't this game start as an Xbox 1 game?)

These pics are so dark on my Samsung SyncMaster 900p (8 years old?) that I can't make them out well enough... So I'm just gunna say, "hmm... looks dark 2 me."

What are you people talking about. Some of you obviously never played the demo. It was leaps beyond what I expected especially with the destructible enviroments and the time shifting effects. I was also shocked by the AI of the enemies. They were very aggressive indeed.
