4th shot is awesome except for the hair on that one soldier.

Edit : well in fact It's correct, the first one is definately Forge. You can recognize the map editor with the little robot-like thing in the sky which is used to drop the items on the level.

The first one shows the Forge image for me.

The new elites look nice. I guess that is the elite from single player that battles along with Master Chief.

The last image is really bright.

Wow nice. Especially that last shot... veerrry nice.

Needless to say the lighting in Halo3 will knock many peoples socks off.

Is it just me, or do the colors in Halo 3 look far more crisp than anything yet on the 360?

I really like how the Halo art design looks w/ next gen effects, makes me really happy the 25th is just around the corner.

I went back and played assault on the control room w/ a buddy the other day and it just made me realize how good this game might be.

We can only hope...

No, it's from MP, the map is called "Epitaph", a map with a nice vertical scale. Non the less the Elites look great, wonder how they'll look in SP (well appart from the arbiter whom we seen already).

But damn that game is beautifull, especially the last shot. Very clean and crisp, and omg, colors in a next gen game!!!

I think you will find there are significant differences between the two mate >_< You can't say it looks like Halo 2, because it just doesn't. It just not mind blowing in comparison to other games though thats all.

Nice improvments in the graphics, take a look at the first picture, thats the level from the beta it really looks improved, especially the trees.

That first image is from the multiplayer map High Ground. It is the last image that is from single player.

Still just looks "pretty good" to me.

Looks good. I think the graphics will suprise alot of people when they play it.

lol yeah it was sarcasm there is a massive difference. And in fact I think as nextgen goes this is up there. It's kept the halo look, it's not gone for pure realism, it kept the same art style and that is a nice touch.

It's also way more colourful than say UT3 or Gears and even bioshock. So it brings a different type of graphics to the system I think, a welcome change to the unreal 3 powered games. I think this is great, they haven't bought an engine off the shelf they have built their own and it looks amazing.
