Well, finally some good screens. Looks great, but the first one is never ingame.
Hmm, I'm not really shure if I should be interested into this game, or not ^^
First I'll see the first tests and reviews.

It's in-game, because it has jaggies. CG or pre-rendered would have much higher quality than this.

2 Big white guys beating up on black guys? :\ Ok not the most tasteful pictures but interesting none the less

The guy getting the side of his knee kicked looks all sorts of silly. Yea, it's a brutal thing they are doing to him, but all that is lost when the guy doesn't even make a reaction.

Also, these two dudes have armor that make it look like they have child bearing hips.

Perhaps a cutscene. Ingame, but with some additional filters etc.
Or PhotoShop helped out ^^

The shooting effect in Army of Two are not as satisfying as Gears of War.

True, i saw i video and it didn,t seems like your shooting a real gun - maybe because it was a demo.

F*** EA and their bullshit fake screenshots. Look at the TeamXbox "screenshots" gallery for this game:

http://screenshots.teamxbox.com/gallery/1495/Army-...

theres like 3 screenshots that are actually from gameplay. pissin me off...

I've always been interested in this game ever since they announced it.
I really like the idea of two guys kicking ass and not taking names. Plus you really have to use good planned tactical teamwork to complete the missions. Even though in the demo that we saw the shooting of the guns didn't seem too real and GoW pulled of that a little better it was still a demo and GoW is all about shooting and less teamwork. So Army Of Two is on my wishlist.

Bubububu... no wait. This is an EA game? Snazzy!

You know what would be really cool (I was thinking of this while playing Gears MP), that you could shoot an enemy in the face/back grab his limp body and use him as a shield against enemies while shooting with your other hand.

In gears it could be like a mobile-cover using the LT so when you blow somebodys head off near you just hit LT and you would grab the still standing body as a shield and slowly move/strafe etc while blindshooting around him. GREATNESS.

Do it Cliffy! Thats my million dollar free idea for you.

About the game

What's up?
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I mean they can keep upgrading it but why bother when they have more capable engines already. (5 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I just think it shows its age in a lot of ways in FC5 and they have better tech so they should use it. (5 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth if they still pay royalties to crytech when using it they probably should (5 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Although I think it's kinda time to retire Dunia. (5 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth @HR2: a lot of studios used modified UE3, games like Arkham Knight, XCom2, both being very problematic on pc. Interesting to see what those studios will do for their next games. (5 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @HR2: Ubisoft uses their own engines. They have like.. three solid in house game engines. (5 Hours ago)
  • HR2
HR2 @Melmoth: agreed. speaking of Ubisoft, I wonder which engine they're using for the next Splinter Cell. a heavily modified UE3 like Batman AK or UE4? (6 Hours ago)
