acm2000, use a wider way of thinking. This is gonna rock. From that 2nd picture you can see that the trailer was in-game. (telling me it wasn't is useless, mainly because it doesn't look super stunning)
I'm getting this, I love how it looks, just one of those perfectly looking ps2 jrpg's with clear sound and textures and pumped up polygons.
Anyone who wants this, let's pray for a Japanese voice option or very good voice-acting.

If Square-Enix don't use FMV for cut-scenes I'll be shocked. Perhaps they are realizing that graphics and animation are no good enough to ue the in-game engine for cut-scenes?

Looking awesome, and Blue Dragon was a true next gen JRPG, if you expect the gameplay fundementals to change in JRPG's then you will be waiting a very long time.

I thought for some odd reason this was a PS3 game so I ignored any info on it though I was interested in it. Just found out it was a 360 game...another rpg to my list. I dont own a PS3 or want one. I want metal gear though, so Im in trouble since its confirmed only PS3.
I love Blue Dragon and yet I feel odd about it. Love the style, but it took me 12 hours to get my butt handed to me once then it never happened again. Im around 24 hrs in and I havent died my sec time yet. I hope that changes. I know Im a vet at RPG's, but I hope it gets harder later. Or maybe I shouldn't have fought ever monster on the map...Can you be too "Hard-core" in games? I got monsters holding up "defeated" signs before I enter a map now! lol
