lip syncing still not right, but as good as you will get without mo-capping ala HS on ps3
other than that, puts all JRPGs to shame, just hope the gameplay does too

Well there is still 2months of polishing and this is all realtime in-game coversations, not pre-rendered like HS. plus as an RPG it has masses and masses of voice acting/coversation in there.

If you look at Talis face...like REALLY look into it, you well get to see her eyes and nose :D.
I can't believe they are still polishing this masterpiece, it looks pretty much perfect in everyway.
The only thing that can put it in a minus point is the sync.
Heavenly Sword got it spot on, and if they make Mass Effect the same then we got 2 of the best mo-cap cinematic games in our hands.

Absolutely brilliant. We also see a different Shepard in the Nihlus conversation than the standard one we've all become very familiar with.
THe lip-sync is off a bit, but then I don't think you're going to be focusing very much on that when you're actually playing the game. Right now we're very critical of the small tidbits we do get from Bioware. Also, most people will probably be playing this game on a large HDTV sitting far back enough not to notice any issues..

Krex is astonoshing. Ususally most reptilian aliens in games and movies just look like sorry excuses for humans in lizard suits. They really look like they created a whole physiology for these species, as nothing look superfluous or tacked on for sci-fi bemusement. Incredible.
Now more from those sexy tentacle headed blue girls.
Sad how all these alien girls are hotter than Oblivion chicks.

lol ok i hate to join the back and forth but let me clear something up here about lipsync
HS is a 4-8 hour hack and slash game with premocaped faces...woo hoo
Mass Effect is a UNIVERSE of gameplay with god knows how much dialog and discussions, not to mention the characters themselves in the cutscenes put HS to shame even.
Not to mention people seem to keep neglecting that BioWare is still fine tuning the game so if the lipync is off by 100ms then they'll solve it, its not that big of a deal in the first place and is pretty much unnoticeable unless your sitting right up on the screen listening hard and watching the lips move, how about stepping back and looking at the facial expressions and changes, and all of the suttle movements and changes in expressions...
BTW the KROGAN LOOK WICKED!!!!! This games gonna be a godsend! Guys just watch that first alien talk the fat alien one, hes WICKEDDDDDDDD.... the attitude of the guy at the end kind of reminds me of vulkans from startrek doesnt it? the kinda arrogant ... im better than human kinda undertone
