I'm loving the environments in this trailer much more than the boring cityscape they've been showing. The only question now is which console should I get it for? I was set on 360 but it keeps failing, and PS3 will soon have rumble and Home...

I never played DMC before. So can someone tell me how the gameplay/figthing is?
Is it comparable to other games, like e.g. NinjaGaiden?
And how long is DMC normally from start to end?

Well I played DMC 1 and 2 looong time ago, and I loved them.
By the time DMC3 came out I didnt have a Ps2, didn't even know it would have a sequal.
But believe it or not, I bought the Ps2 just for those two games :D.

Anyway...gameplay.

As I see it, it plays a very cool mix between Ninja Gaiden and God of War, if you want comparing (which I dont like to do).

DMC is more like tap the shit out of the sword button, slash them many times, take them in the air and then choose if you want to shoot them in air or do cool aerial combat.

But you can pretty much choose how to go and fight, between sword or guns. I know DMC3 had this "gamestyle" with like gunslinger...etc. and depending what style you wanted you had to break awesome style and many combos.

Its more like a hack n slash/shooting that never gets bored (depending how picky you are).

I love these type of games, so this is gonna be awesome!.

Kepe hearing DMC3 was bad ass tough. I know NG is a pain the ass in Very Hard and Master Ninja, but don't know about DMC3 and 4.

That is why I say they MUST release a DMC4 demo on both PSN and 360 Marketplace, for both the fans and those that are interested in the game.I want Lucia back!

Trailer is ok, but nothing outstanding.

Seeing as the console has failed on me 6 times (the first console in 4 generations to fail on me more than once) despite the fact that it's been in an open space the entire time, I'd say it's not a personal issue like you're implying.

And I just found those Trish/Lady scans. I had no idea about this until now. Suddenly my excitement for the game doubled!

Really cool, While NG2 will most likley own this in the gameplay department, DMC4 will still hold its own simply due to the immense style of the game and the shere over the top action scenes.
Really looking forward to playing this on 360. Hopefully we will have a demo before launch.

You guys really need to stop.. this argument can continue elsewhere if you want but here isn't the place.. and we all know that there have been issues across the board, MS didn't increase the warranty to three years for nothin. But seriously.. drop it. One more comment about dead 360's in this thread and there will be dead users.

I hate to fall for the trap, and turn another gaming thread into a pissing contest, but how exactly will NG 2 beat this game in terms of gameplay? DMC has tons more depth than NG though NG is still an amazing game dont get me wrong. I just dont see how it beats dmc when you have weapons switching, and now style switching, and 2 characters with their own unique fighting styles.
