It looks like Microsoft isn't too much in a hurry to release the trailers for this TGS, so our friends over in Tokyo decided to go film the Lost Odyssey trailer at their booth directly. Of course there almost isn't any sound from the video, but it still looks damn nice.
Update: The direct feed trailer is now available, and it's even better with the music!

ts back to blowing my mind. Damn the trailer was impressive. Can't wait to see it on the marketplace in HD. Some of those scenes really looked superb. I mean did ya notice the hurricanes and all the special effects going on during the fights?

Blim do you know if the Asian version will have English language support? the conference said it would be avalible the same day as the JP version.

Nooo the Asian version will be out in January and the European and American version will be out in February.

Good thing there will be plenty of games to fill in till the game comes out. I got so much love for the game and am anticipating its inevitable release. If it lives up to its story, this game will be the best JRpg imo.

Looks like the traditional turn-based gameplay. After playing FFXII I don't know if I can go back to the turn-base style gameplay. I guess I'll wait and see.

looks epic...its come a long way. Looks like a nex gen FFXII in design. Although FFXIII, I think will offer a proper step forward, this is looking to deliver....far more interesting that BD anyway

For some reason, the more I see of Lost Odyssey, the more I lose interest. It's starting to look very dated, graphically and gameplay wise. The shitfest that was Blue Dragon didn't do much to keep my spirits up, either. In fact I think I'm beginning to hate RPG's in general. Not enough time to get into them anymore! Hopefully Lost Odyssey doesn't force you to level up for hours on end.

After FFXII I'm so happy to go back to turnbased, the same system but I get to actually play it myself? Awesome! Also after FFXII I'm happy to see something with seemingly interesting narrative and a awesome soundtrack ;)

I do agree with the RPG thing. Blue Dragon battle system is rather good compared to some older rpgs that I really enjoyed. But I find it hard to get the energy to play it because of how much time it takes up. I will complete it eventually but its finding time. Blue dragon so far isn't a horrible game, its just extremely old school.

As for lost odysseys graphics, I think for a jrpg they look amazing. While not as beautiful as eternal sonata its certainly better than infinite undiscovery and white knight story.

Eternal Sonata, Blue Dragon, Mass Effect & this, couldnt ask for anymore quality RPG's for the console already. Video looked awesome, actually can't wait.

well that trailer really was of epic proportions like all rpgs should be. Or games for that matter... No, I don't want to see life through a polish sheepdog. I want to see worlds get obliterated, epic heroes wielding huge energy swords, giant monsters to battle and soft women that need my attention. Yes, that is want from a videogame...

Seems like Lost Odyssey is just the game for me!

Looks to be the definite final fantasy game for the 360

the unreal engine can be quite a thing of beauty. RPG looks stunning, and the gameplay looks great. Seems to have a really gripping emotion filled tale too.

I swear watching the trailer and listening to the music i thought sephiroth would burst out of nowhere slashing his sword down! guitars, operatic and epic! typical jprg music..awesome! hope the final game has similar music..would be great for some epic boss battles

im really disappointed that this is random battles with just standard turn based battle system. just my opinion, but i wanted something new, or at least, newer. still i will give it a shot and see if i can suffer through it.
