I dont think so yeah it looks really good but the environments are pretty weak, they are very empty and low poly. PGR4 has way richer graphics and way better effects and don't try to call me a Xbox fanboy of PGR fanboy because i don't even like PGR and i have a PS3.

Nice to finally see actual gameplay. The graphics didnt seem as special as people were saying.

And where are the damn physics, this game was supposed to be the Forza 2 killer and on so far it does not look better graphical and the physics look really weak.

If this is not going to improve drastical then im not buying it because so far this looks way more arcade then Forza 2.

Yeah, after seeing that vid, the graphics arent amazing. PGR4 is way more detailed but it runs at 30 fps. I cant believe PD skipped on car damage once again. Thats pretty sad for a next gen game.

GT5 features real life racing courses, and they tend to look a bit drab.

let's wait for GT8 - may be at gt8 we gonna c good graphics and physics... cuz cell is a future.... i thought that this game gonna b awsome but... it's mediocre.. i'm dissappointed. I won't buy it for my ps3. That's for sure.

No thats not an excuse, Forza 2 feautures real life courses and they are more detailed. GT5p has 2d threes very little objects on the track just compare the Japan Suzuka track from Forza 2 and GT5p and you will see how much more detailed is the one in Forza 2.

The cars looks great, but where's the sense of speed?? In the video the car goes 140km/H up to 240km/h in the end... and it feels like "Driving miss Daisy"...

Where can I compare them? Im interested in seeing the difference.

and not to mention that the GT5p trailer is touched up as hell, the gameplay looks nothing like that, no motion blur and blur, no heat fx, no aa, so way more jaggies and even the hdr looks nothing as in the trailer.

GT5p may have a more realistic look but so far it's looking very empty, slow and arcade.

Wow wow wow men, hold on. Look at how fast the loading is, look at the very great shadows and lights in the cockpit, the fluidity of the whole game. It looks amazing. And with a video of such faible resolution, and thats filmed from such an angle, you really can't make an idea how the textures and details may be of the game. Men, all those Sony haters in here, really make me sick.

I don't hate GT5p im dissapointed by it, i was really hyped for this game after seeing all the awesome trailers but the gemplay looks way worse with all the jaggies, empty tracks and arcade gameplay :-(

Couldnt agree more, the backgrounds are unacceptable, i mean, thats what you see the most when driving and they are really ugly. The car physics are on par with PGR2/4, so i hope they take "The real driving simulator" off the title.

On a brighter note, the cars as always look really awesome.

None of you guys have actually played it...how can you say the game is bad? The game plays really well...the A.I. is much improved and now you actually have a battle on your hands. The videos you see don't do this game justice...although I admit that parts of the track could look a little better. But the car models are simply beautiful...I've never seen anything like it before.

I played this game 3 times and I came first twice, I have a great battle with the cars up front. I really like this game...the car physics are great and the handling is spot on. You know when you've made a mistake you can feel the over-steer and the under-steer.Playing this game with the steering wheel is awesome...the feed back is also spot. I simply can't wait until the final game is released.

Yup PGR4 look better then this. After I saw that video with the rain hitting the window in cockpit view my mind was blown away!

Im not hating. I was just posting my thoughts on the video. So far it doesnt look like anything special. PS3 fans should be angry that PD is skipping damage again. Thats quite embarrassing to be honest. I dont see anything that separates this game from all the other sims. In fact, its a step back due to no damage.

For me GT5p looks better than Forza2, forza envirements look very cheap. Main reason for that is all the additional power that's been put into the car damage physics (which is the only nice thing about F2). The lighting in Forza2 is crap and cars look no way real, all look like plastic toys. I do agree that PGR4 looks nicer due to the fact that they have something different with the enviroments (weather effects etc) but I still think GT5 cars look more real and better. A GT5p screenshots could fool me for being real, PGR4 wouldn't.

I don't think there is any point comparing the enviroments at this point anyways untill games are closer to their release (or released).

Its just badly edited video, we should never see it from that angle, you would get same crappy view in PGR and Forza2 or many other games.

Lol and before you even call me sony fanboy (and get b*** slapped) I don't even have any sony console, finnished almost all Forza and PGR games on 100% as well as Grand Turismos on good ol' PS1 and PS2. Check yourself! :)

You do know that this are all bullshots and even from replay which looks better then gameplay, but anyway even on this screens the environments look very empty and lifeless.

None of those are bullshots as u put it...standing in-line waiting to play it U can see the beautiful details of this game both in-game and in reply, they look like those pictures posted. As for a race track being empty, are U mad? What do U want on a race track? besides the cars? I understand lifeless comment...but not the empty comment.

On a serious note, not one of those pics are taken from ingame during a race, the game does not look like that when racing, far from it infact.
