I dont get the comment though, Gears wasnt purely original, it borrowed aspects from RE 4 and Kill.Switch, or rather refined those aspects. Still a good game, but not the pinnacle of originality.

i no longer have a great desire to play this game.

looks better then gear, whether they stole the gameplay or not. but thats not hard, gears was possibly one of the most boring games on the 360, next to perfect dark zero of course.

yeah.. That's definately Gears of War gameplay. On that note, if you're going to mimic something at least do it right.

Well Dark Sector was made waaay before Gears of War anyway, in terms of gameplay in concept. It just happened that Epic made Gears of War being a cover-shooter in priority.

I think Gears was quite cool at start, but the more you played it, the more bored you got. I still have the Collectors Edition.

But yeah I knew TGS wouldnt have anything new anyways, because digitial Extremes did say they were going to have the same demo from E3 on TGS.

A demo will come out in fall for those interested.

Its a long ahead title, so I am trying to not think about it.

Kinda harsh on the game are we?

I remember when this game was supposed to be this cool space-based stealth game with bleeding-edge technology. In fact, I think it was one of the earliest revealed next-gen technology demoes (if not THE first) a couple of years back.

So, what happened to that game?

Well MyManD, it was one of the first next-gen games announced.

That concept was just a tech demo, nothing more.
Their plans was not to make it a game of itself. That tech demo was just to show off the engine of a first next gen game and just to show a hero I guess.
But in the end, that video was a tech demo, nothing more, it was never to be used as a full game.

Hopefully that clears some stuff up.

About the old trailer and the suit, well...first its not a ninja as everyone says it to be :S

Second of all, that suit is still in, but in another form. Its his body that transforms into something like that in the same material as his arm. He still gets that cool transformation helmet that he can use.

All in all, just chekc out the latest Webisode at www.darksector.com and you will get a glimpse of it in the end, its VERY short glimpse but non the less.

still can't belive what they done to this nice promising game and convert it to something between resident and gears clone cat B. Pity dark sector was a good game when they showed it for the first time now its just another clone and as most of clones is not as good as u think u can be.

what, your saying gears of war SINGLE PLAYER was exciting and interesting?!? whatever floats your boat i guess, i thought it was slow and boring. opinions mate, we all have one. if pipos free to state his, and your fee to state yours, then surely im free to state mine, which i did.

I think the problem is theyve been showing the same area for MONTHS, with no new abilities, no new characters, no new environments, except for maybe the last trailer and boss fight at leipzig i guess. people have just lost interest, there's virtually no hype for the game at all.

You should move along if this site doesn't fit your standards.I agree man. For example I wont regain any interest if I don't start seeing new main characters, more footage from the story...etc.

Sure im a big fan of the game, but even the biggest fan get dissapointed in stuff, and so far I am dissapointed.

But good thing is that I don't have to think about it considering its a early 2008 title and there are MANY other great titles coming out this year, so this game is just off the radar until closer date.

It's hard to tell what made Gears of Wars so cool and why this, on the other hand, looks do dull. Hmm, how about a co-op?

Theres online multiplayer, but no info on it yet.

Why did they ditch the Future setting?! we have to many games like this.
