Page 1 2 >>if if is anything compared to the first then :D definate buy, is it by monolith ?
I think it looks better ..its just alot better GFX games have come out from the 1st one ....just makes it look a little dated.. but i am getting it for sure ^___^
any word on co-op and muti-play? as they cut them from the 1st game due to time
I didn't invent the term, but it fits and is easy to use, therefore I use it. And the best thing about it is, that when the 720 launches the term will nicely apply onto that console too - Yay!
If you keep saying "next-gen" then it means Xbox 3 and PS4.
Kind of what Abaddon said really.
I just wanted to say that we can no longer say "next-gen" with 360 and Ps3, considering its the "current gen" and Xbox and Ps2 is "last gen".

But all I am saying is that next-gen is not for 360 and PS3 and, hehe Wii, anymore.
Its current gen, because all three systems is out, and Xbox and Ps2 and GameCube is old now.
You don't even have to say "gen" at all just say why it looks bad so people get the idea what you mean.
ah well...
these are ps3 gfx at best, but not good enough for 360. i sure hope they are not finished with the character models :(
maybe one wont notice as much in motion, but still...
definitely needs (and propably will get) more polish ^_^
i agree that its not the best looking game ever, the engine they're using just isnt too great. i didnt think it was too great when fear was released and i think it looks worse now, but condemned seems to use it better then fear does. the first game was all about suspense, viceral combat, decent enemy AI and a decent horror story. and im sure that will be true for this one too.
despite being a fan tho i'm not really excited for it. i'll pick it up no doubt, but there are much better games that interest me more.
I sorta hated the way Condemned ended. It all seemed like it was building up to something big, and it just sorta doesn't. I hope this one flows a little better in that sense.
The thing that really bugs me about Condemned's ending is how they give you this choice right at the end -- but it doesn't change how the game ends at all. And they don't really explain how you get out of that situation, especially if you chose to execute the guy when you've got his uncle standing there with a gun to your head telling you not to do it.
Monolith rocks.
And until the Playstation 2 dies, I think the term "next gen" still applies.
I thought FEAR 2 was going to be called Project Origin. The one being made by Monolith anyways.

that was just a jk btw
And yeah that's the name for FEAR 2. The lost the name but get to keep Alma and the story. Don't know if it's a prequel or not. If not, your right, not a very good name.
This Monolith engine was and is too heavy to work properly. The Fear demo ran like poo on my brand spanking new 6800GT that cost 530 euros back in the day.
