20 minutes of Metroid Prime 3

20 minutes of Metroid Prime 3

I know Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is out since last summer in the US, but in Europe it's not even out yet, and Nintendo kindly sent us a PAL version of the game. This is why we offer you the twenty first minutes of the game right now. And yeah, I know we only do ten usually, but since the action really takes off after ten-twelve minutes, I thought you'd like to see more.

It's still my favorite Wii game so far. You guys will have a lot of fun with it. Just make sure you set the sensitivity to advanced in the control options menu.

Yup. Don't understand the hate, it couldn't have been done much better. Though I still prefer the 2D Metroid games.

Never had much love to spare when it comes to Metroid Prime. The good old 2d metroids rock, but the prime games find boring. You just wander through desolate environments. The first game looks really good for it's time which made it playable, the second looked allright but this, this just looks old and crappy compared to what we are used to today. The controlls look kind of weird too.

The more i see of wii games the less i want one.

I'm gonna finish Echoes before I play this, but man, friday's gonna be PRETTY painful seeing this on shelves and not letting myself play it.

They're really going out with a gigantic bang in this one though, snazzy Wii controls, tons of NPCs to carry the story in the final part of the trilogy, and because of the Phazon-centric story, its art is sure to be even more mind bogglingly stunning than the first two.

Absolutely incredible trilogy, and surely by far the most consistent games trilogy ever.

Honestly it's the best game I've played all year, by far. The only things that will probably outdo it for me are Mario Galaxy or Mass Effect. Any of you that haven't played it really owe it to yourselves to pick it up. It's a masterpiece of a game and it really shows just how good the Wii can look and control. Everything is absolutely perfectly put together.

That's exactly how I feel about the first two aswell. Did you play the Gamecube games? If you did and that is how Corruption feels then I'm in for a treat!

Original was great, the sequel was lame but this seems to put the seris back on track.
Will be picking this up when I get a Wii next year.

The image for the banner above, where's that from? Is there a larger version of it somewhere? I think it's fantastic.

Nintendo released some art way back in May 2006 and those images of Shamus and the ship were used to create fanart (fake Wii game covers, wallpapers). Check out http://media.wii.ign.com/media/748/748547/imgs_20....
